Tour of Mainz

It is getting warm enough to explore Germany again!!! Yesterday we went on a 2-3 hour self-guided walking tour of Mainz. There is soooo much history to see - buildings hundreds of years old and ruins from when the year only had 3 digits!! Found a fantastic German restaurant - love it when they seat 2 separate ...parties at a table for 4. Great way to meet new people - but the language thing hampers me - Bob is able to pick up the general ideas at least.
